MISSION

AREAS OF ACTIVITY

In accordance with the "Regulations of Military Headquarters of Provinces, Capitals and Districts" approved by Resolution No. 66 of 2004 of the Government of Mongolia, it will operate under the direct management of the district governor with the number of posts approved by the order of the Minister of Defense.

1. Advocating defense policies and activities to citizens, enterprises, and organizations, organizing and supervising the implementation of laws and regulations in the defense sector, and providing professional guidance for the Governor to fulfill his obligations under laws,

In accordance with the established procedure, ensure readiness by creating a mobilization announcement and information system in the district territory, and by the order of the Governor, by appointing a gathering place and a place for the transfer of equipment, and conducting training with the appointed staff,

3. According to the plan for ensuring the readiness of the district's mobilization, the person assigned and accounted for will make corrections to the equipment, provide personnel and weapons, assign mobilization tasks to enterprises, organize work to ensure implementation,

4. Registration and migration of men of military age and professional women registered in military organizations at the district level,

5. Organizing the recruitment and dismissal of military personnel,

6. Registration of soldiers who have completed their active military service and have been discharged for training, vocational training, job placement,

7. To close the military service on a voluntary basis by contract.

8. To provide professional support to register young people over the age of 26 who have not physically completed their military service, clarify the reasons, and replace them with a cash payment.

9. Receive and settle feedback, applications, and complaints from citizens, respond within the legal time frame,

10. Training of mobilization preparation resources, military training of governors of committees, training of those who perform actual military service, and training of mobilization appointed personnel, providing professional support to improve their ability to perform their duties independently,

11. To provide preparations for the protection and rescue of citizens and all types of property from the potential harm of weapons of mass destruction and terrorist activities in peacetime,

12. To organize the work of improving the health of young people who were temporarily exempted due to illness through the draft bureau in the current year in cooperation with the district health center,

13. Literacy training of illiterate youth aged 18-25 in cooperation with informal learning centers,

14. To prepare, train and develop local soldiers according to the concept of local defense,

15. Research and estimate the most important and special objects for the District Defense Strategy, develop plans for protection in case of potential threats and accidents, and ensure readiness.

16. To improve the readiness of civil defense of enterprises and organizations, conduct regular inspections and analyzes of civil defense tools, personal protective equipment, shelters, and siren alarm systems,

17. To organize and carry out the work of developing the ideals of the motherland among children and young people,

18. Provide professional and methodological support in organizing the implementation of the "Student Soldier" program.
