Based on the report of the working group on the assessment of the consequences of the implementation of the Law on Telecommunications, a draft law was drafted to amend the law, and a meeting was held today (01.05.2024) among service providers in the sector to present the draft.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology J. Erhembaatar discussed the need to draft the law, Head of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission A. Luvsan-Ochir proposed amendments to the draft law by Communications Regulatory Commission, researcher and manager of the Association of Information Communication Operators Y. Suvdanchimeg. Presentations and information were given about the research project "Possibilities of introducing national roaming services in Mongolia".

At the meeting, about 30 representatives of the relevant offices of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, the Association of Information Communication Operators, Mobicom Corporation LLC, Unitel LLC, Skytel LLC, G Mobile LLC, Ondo LLC, and Information Communication Network LLC exchanged ideas and information.
